Our Community

We realized that to be successful, the Facility has to endear itself to the community it would plant its root in and become a contributing entity to the overall success of the community.

The Kilifi community we will be planting KVA has one of the highest levels of poverty and social deprivations and we aim to play our part to alleviate some of these.

The Facility will work with a non-profit called GivePower (https://givepower.org/) to establish a water farm on site. In Kenya, GivePower have undertaken projects in Samburu, and their solar-powered water farm in Kiunga, Lamu went live in 2020, producing fresh water for 35,000 people every single day. We will work with GivePower to establish KVA as the 2nd site on the Kenyan coast that is providing free clean water for the local community.
